DESCRIPTION:
Sextants- 2 (Two) U.S. Navy Mark III, Model 1 Sextants: Scientific Instruments Inc., Milwaukee, WI, for U.S. Navy "US Navy MK III, Mod 1" sextants, 6.5 inch radius, black metal frames, Navy identification on index arms, graduated arc reading 0-120, micrometer drum, shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, and black plastic handles with battery compartments, all in wood boxes with certificates under the lid dating 1974 and 1977.
CONDITION:
The instrument with the 1974 date is missing the shades for the index mirror. Some empty accessory spots in the cases. Both sextants have corroded battery compartments. The one dated 1977 has a very weathered and worn wooden case. Dimensions are for closed wooden box. Sold "as is ".
